The IFAA is proud to offer a variety of
annual scholarships to both incoming
freshman and upper classmen students
pursuing educations in ag-related fields of
study.
At the 2007 Iowa State Fair 79 scholarships
and 79 performance and carcass awards were
presented. Young Iowans who participated in
4-H and FFA beef, swine, sheep and poultry
projects earned the scholarships valued at
$100,350 and the performance and carcass
awards worth $13,550. When tallied with the
proceeds from the Sale of Champions, the
IFAA provided $361,400 to livestock
enthusiasts to encourage their continued
interest in agriculture and related careers.
